Uninstall programs right and stop Windows slowdown!
The longer you use Windows the slower it gets. Your hardware isn't getting slower - it's Windows that's getting clogged up. One of the main reasons for this is garbage left over by programs that don't get removed properly. Lazy programmers think that what you don't see doesn't hurt you and so they only include the main program components in the Uninstall entry in the Windows® Control Panel. The rest isn't visible but it's still there, adding more and more unnecessary ballast to your Windows setup with every program you "remove".
Many programs leave hundreds of Registry entries, files and even drivers and Windows services in place after they have been "uninstalled"!

Windows® Services Manager
Many programs install Windows® "services" that load and run with Windows®, even when you aren't using the programs. This is bad enough normally but it's downright annoying if the service is still there after you've uninstalled the program! In addition to identifying new services the new Windows® Services Manager shows you all the services that are installed and running and lets you disable them.
Internet Explorer Add-Ons Manager
If you surf the Net a lot you know the problem - your browser gets increasingly loaded up with more and more add-ons and plug-ins, and it starts getting slower too. The new Internet Explorer Add-Ons manager shows you all your Internet Explorer plug-ins and add-ons and lets you activate, deactivate or remove them.
Start Menu Cleaner
Lots of programs leave orphaned entries and icons in the Windows® Start menu and on your desktop. This fully-configurable new feature seeks out and removes these entries.

Uninstaller Platinum Suite is a great tool for managing all the uninstallation processes and for removing completely all the uninstalled program leftovers. Windows OS takes care of the uninstallation of programs by reading the uninstall lists that any installed program includes.
The installed programs that are uninstalled normally leave parts, folders, registry entries, files and drivers, etc. (garbage) that are not longer useful and slow down the Windows normal operation.
This Ashampoo application monitors all the program installations and makes their complete uninstallation possible. It can uninstall even programs that are not logged and it also includes other utilities for 'tuning' the Windows operation.
The user interface is very easy to use and all the functions are available with a single click. Some of the interesting options are included into the context menus that appear when user right-click on a defined file or folder.
There are two different operation modes: Easy and Expert. User can switch between these modes anytime.
Easy mode lets the user manage programs installations and remove them with some mouse clicks.
Expert mode gives the user aditional functions and features for skilled or professional operators, such as the possibility of uninstalling multiple programs at the same time; drag and drop the unwanted programs to the Uninstaller; restore the uninstalled programs; wildcard use for identifying programs and updates; the Internet Explorer Add-Ons manager will show all the plug-ins, add-ons, etc. that have been incorporated to the user browser, for deactivating, activating or removing them.
Application can also search the Windows Start up menu and desktop to find invalid entries, icons, etc. that are left by uninstalled programs and remove them at the user desire.
Every dialog context includes a Help button for providing all the information the user might need about the function being used.
Application will show the expert user where the programs store the not seen information and the hidden files and settings, and which ones are modified when the program is running.
The program includes useful tools such as Find/Delete Temporary files, Empty folders, Duplicates, etc. so user can choose which ones to be directly deleted. logs for program installation processes that will help very much the uninstallation process. |
